We will enhance the security of user information by adopting the encryption technology; we will protect our user information from being subjected to malicious attacks by adopting trustworthy protection mechanisms; we will deploy access control mechanisms to try to ensure that only authorized persons have access to user information; and we will organize security and privacy protection training courses to enhance staff awareness of the importance of protecting user information. Foton Overseas has passed numerous international and domestic management system certification.
4.2 We will take all reasonable and practicable measures to avoid the collection of irrelevant personal information as much as possible. We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, unless otherwise specified by laws. After the expiration of the above user information retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
4.3 Please use a complex password to help us ensure the security of your account. We will do our best to ensure the security of any information that you send to us. In order to ensure your information security more effectively, we also hope that you can strengthen the awareness of self-protection. We are only liable for the disclosure of your personal information to the extent that it is directly caused by Foton Overseas. 5.4 We do not charge for your reasonable request in principle. However, if the request is repeated many times and exceeds the reasonable limit, we will charge a certain cost at our discretion. Foton International will explain the relevant matters to you through this Privacy Policy Statement. Foton International reminds you that, before using the Overseas DMS and related services, please carefully read and fully understand this Privacy Policy Statement. Where you provide us with personal information of other natural persons, you shall ensure that you have fulfilled the necessary notification, authorization, or consent obligations (as applicable) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and that the provision of such personal information has a lawful basis.

1.2 When you use the Overseas DMS and related services, we will collect and use relevant personal information in the following ways:
(1) We will collect information of claim adjusters, organizational customers, vehicle owners, and repair submitters (name and contact telephone number). The information of claim adjusters is used to identify the liaison contact in case of subsequent disputes or claims or when business controversies arise. The information of organizational customers, vehicle owners, and repair submitters is used for customer service work such as customer return visits and after-sales satisfaction surveys. We will keep such information strictly confidential and process it in a lawful manner.
(2) The retention period of the above personal information shall be the shortest time necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Article, namely the date on which the corresponding vehicle warranty and after-sales claim business has been completed and the relevant dispute resolution period has expired. After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize the relevant information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
1.3 In summary, the Overseas DMS and related services will be used for the following purposes:
(1) To provide, maintain, or improve products or services;
(2) To send important notifications to you;

We will only retain relevant personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, unless otherwise required by law. After the above retention period for personal information expires, we will delete or anonymize the relevant personal information.

5. How to Access, Modify, or Delete Personal Information and Withdraw Consent

For security purposes, you may be required to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
5.3 After you cancel your account by yourself, we will delete or anonymize the relevant personal information, or continue to retain it in accordance with law, based on applicable laws and regulations, contract performance, and the actual business situation. Account cancellation does not necessarily mean that we must immediately delete all information related to you. 5.4 In principle, we will not charge you a fee for exercising your rights. For requests that are repeated many times and exceed a reasonable limit, we may charge necessary cost fees; for requests without legitimate basis, we may refuse to respond but will explain the reasons to you.
5.5 Where the retention period prescribed by laws and administrative regulations has not expired, or where deletion of personal information is technically difficult to realize, we will continue to retain the relevant personal information in accordance with law, but will cease processing other than storage and taking necessary security protection measures, and will explain the relevant situation to you when you submit a deletion request.

6.2 If you use the Overseas DMS outside the territory of the People's Republic of China and provide personal information to us, the collection and use of the relevant personal information and its transfer into the territory of the People's Republic of China may be simultaneously subject to the laws and regulations applicable in the country or region in which you are located regarding personal information protection, data protection, and cross-border data transfer. If you provide us with personal information of other natural persons, you shall ensure that you have obtained the corresponding lawful processing basis under applicable law, that you have fulfilled the necessary notification, authorization, or consent obligations (as applicable) in accordance with law, and that providing the relevant personal information to us will not violate the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. Where the country or region in which you are located has special requirements for the transfer of personal information into the territory of the People's Republic of China, you shall fulfill the corresponding procedures in accordance with law before providing the relevant personal information to us. We will process the personal information you provide through the Overseas DMS in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the agreements between the parties, and will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the security of the relevant personal information. Legal liability arising from your failure to comply with the requirements of the laws and regulations of the country or region in which you are located shall be borne by you.

(2) 上述个人信息的保存期限为实现本条所述目的所必需的最短时间,即对应车辆质保及售后索赔业务办理完毕、且相关争议解决期限届满之日;保存期限届满后,我们将对相关信息进行删除或匿名化处理,法律法规另有规定的除外。
